Hiku Tea

by Inge Lagae

Endless beginning, ceaseless end.

Hiku finds its inspiration in the Japanese tea ritual. The low circular table invites you to connect and share. It evokes simplicity and strength. Tables of different heights and materials can be combined to form a harmonious whole.

Tables of different heights and materials can be combined to form a harmonious whole. Isabelle Yamamoto created the optional zabutons (Japanese floor cushions) in vegetal-coloured vintage hemp for a beautiful wabi-sabi decor. The Hiku table is available in different kind of woods and dimensions.

Hiku Stool

by Inge Lagae

The Hiku stool stands as an enigmatic object, all curves and rounds. A fluid sculpture with no definitive purpose. Smooth lines creating an object to sit on, combined with the seat cushion in vinted hemp by Yamamoto or in stonewashed Belgian linen by KĀNA. Without the seat cushion, the Hiku stool could also be used as a small, mobile side table.

Hiku Chair

by Inge Lagae

“Ceci n’est pas une chaise”. The Hiku chair is not conceived as a traditional chair but as a stool with a backrest. A piece of design art, a touch of sophistication, a decorative piece that adds a touch of minimalism to the dwelling space.
